how are you supposed to service , clean or change a Donaldson air cleaner on a Farmall B

Change the oil and clean the cup.

Other than that, remove the entire assembly, dip into a 5 gallon bucket of diesel fuel. Agitate many times over a several day period. Remove and drain a day or so in the sun. Replace and ad fresh oil to cup.

Not saying a person"s supposed to do this, but I took my air cleaner to the car wash, took as much off as I could, put "er n the floor and hit it from all sides with "Hot-Wash" for a good long while.
