IH hydro filter 404-886-R1

I'm hoping that someone might be able to help me find a cross to another manufacturer from an IH part #.

IH # 404-886-R1, hydraulic filter for IH cub lowboy models, 154, 185, 184. My IH dealer no longer sells IH parts, he is just a Cub Cadet and misc lawn equipment dealer now. --Lee

Did a random search on internet and found several.

Main interchange listed was claim that Baldwin BT357 is replacement for 404886R1.

NAPA Stores have always been good for me on cross over numbers for filters.

Just go to your NAPA and tellem what you got...Or better still,take the filter # to NAPA,and they will hand you a new one.....BTW,I havent bought a 'dealer' filter in YEARS!NAPA supplys em all. ps...A NAPA filter is really a WIX.

IH part numbers don't have hyphens.

If you do a GOOGLE search for "IH 404886R1"

you'll get lots of info!

For example:

WIX... 51247

NAPA... 1247

Thanks folks. There were gaps between the 404 and the 886, and between the 886 and the R1 on the filter itself. I added the dashes (in error). Thanks for the information.
