How can something get so dirty in 75 years,Ive been all day scraping and wire brushing the front bolster on this H,Ive still need to degrease and paint.Im glad I not charging money for this job because it wouldn't be worth it.Now I realize why I don't paint much.Ive got the wheels for tomorrow and all of those crevices and castings it will be a days job also. This tractor has no paint left on it nowhere, and has been locked up for most of its life.It will be nice to hear it run again

I guess that's why I like "Patina" as much as I do. I like clean tractors, but like them just as much in their working clothes. :)

It took me all of 25 hours or more of powerwashing with degreaser and brushes to get my 41A cleaned up. Whole thing was caked in grease. Still had original red paint under 60 years of grease.

GO TO DOLLAR STORE AND BUY SOME CHEAP OVEN CLEANER. SPRAY ON AND LET SET WASH OFF WITH HOSE. REMOVES ALL GREASE,RUST, AND PAINT. MAY HAVE TO DO MORE THAN ONCE. RINSE WELL BEFORE APPPLYING PAINT.

No it won"t, they changed the formula, and won"t do much at all anymore, just tried it last year. Talked to people at D.G. & Family Dollar, new formula, junk, won"t even work in ovens.
