clutch adjustment on 986

Tractor pulls good but hard to get out of gear into netural.once in netural easy to shift to reverse or high or low.any ideas would be helpful

Does it help to pull the TA to the low side before shifting?

TA may be out of adjustment.

Yep needs adjusted , not somuch the clutch put it is the dump valve is out , But you need to do the whole adjustment . Clutch , trans brake , and the dump valve . And it could also have to do with cab settling due to the cab mounts squashing down .. Ya can look back thru the archives as to the easy was of doing one since they are just about the same from the 06 sires on up to the 86's . Just make sure your trans pressure tel tale lite works in the dash. And ya need a friend .
