Super C Trans problem

About two months ago I pulled the oil plug on the rear end of the Super C. When I did a bolt fell out. I just pulled the top off and found three bolts had fallen out and one plate that held the axles in place. I replaced the bolts added lockwashers and loctite. Putting the top back on I thought I had the forks all lined up. When I went to move it I found out I had no neutral, reverse in neutral and reverse. All four forward gears are locked up solid. Is it possible I put the reverse fork in the wrong spot? It does shift, but does not move. Thanks, Steve

Forks are probably out of position and not engaged with the gears. If you didn't have the transmission apart and put something else in wrong I can't see how it could be anything else.
Provided it worked before you took it apart.

i did the same on mine .. if you didnt move the forks, then when you put the lid back on get someone to help you and move the gears to match the forks ,,,thats what we did ever time we pulled the lid off... dewy

Thanks for the reply. My problem is now I have moved everything. I'm thinking I need to put the rearend up on jackstands and check it all out before i put the fluid back in. Steve

Well Steve it will probably be easier the second time if that's any consolation. I think your reverse fork missed the groove in the gear. Not the first time that has happened I'm sure.
good luck with it

Well I have tried three more times and nothing seems
to work right. Tomorrow I am going to buy a scope
so I can look in and see if I actually hit the
reverse gear or not. I can tell on the main two but
not on the reverse. I know I'm still not right.
The fan was turning with neutral and not in fourth
gear. I'll get it yet. Thanks, Steve
