I hate to be the bearer of bad news, knowing it is nostalgic to use these old units but a B is not the best choice to cultivate with. You will do much better with a C or SC or even a 200. You can"t see the left side row from the right side seat and the lift will at best be a high maintenance exhaust unit or one of the fan or PTO driven units. Most of the exhaust lifts were walked away from in the early 50"s by serious users even on the A. Since the tractor was considered by the contemporaries to have little utility not a lot of the cultivators and attachments survived. The B is important in Farmall history as being a unit that was not planned very well. Every collector should have one though. Just my opinion.

I agree. You would be better off tradeing for a C or
even an H.Cultivetors are still around for those. If
you were close,I have a 4 row vegatable cultivator I
would sell cheap.

I'm in Western Colorado. The cultivetor is a corn cultivator from a 450.Modified to a double bar veg cult on an M.'Made' it 4-5 years ago,but have never used it.Still mounted to the tractor.I will call later
