656 tractor

Is a 656 gas a good hobby farm tractor? I just got a chance to buy one.Any bad quirks with them? Thank you anyone.

My 656 gas Farmall does all I want it to do. Just dont have all the power like the two diesel 656's we have.

A 656 is a good tractor. Not too many people complain about them. The shifting linkage can get sloppy but it can be repaired with a little TLC.

We have a 656 gas for our loader tractor. Great tractor! Great starting in the winter too. Plow, disc, mow, rake and bale hay with it too. Pretty tough tractor to beat. Keep up on the servicing, especially the hydraulics and it should serve you very well!
