Problem with 140 hyd, system

I recently had the hyd. box rebuilt, used it for 4 hours mowing with a belly mower,,no problems,,a week later was mowing again, it blew the gasket where the hyd. lines connect to the box. I replaceed the gasket and mowed awhile longer and it did the same thing. I talked with the guy who rebuilt the box and he has no reasoning of why this is happening,,,,,,,,Any thoughts????

Several possibilities:
The material of the gasket could be inferior or too thick.
The pressure relief in the system could be stuck or sticking.
The surface of the block or flange could be distorted.
The block to flange bolts could be improperly tightened/partially stripped.

If the system loads the engine (makes it open the governor a little) with no lever movement it might be the valve adjustment.

Pressure testing it is in order. I hope this helps. Jim
