Ih 684 diesel what oil do you suggest

Well just as I have said what oil do I use in the engine and how much. No owners manual. Bought this basket case but it does run real good even though it leaked diesel everywhere. Fixed leaks, Just going ahead and changing out oil filter, water sep/fuel filters and oil while I'm dirty. Kind of worried because sometime these old tractors don't like running on fresh clean stuff, they like the old dirty oil and get kind of partial to their old filters, lol...!

15W-40 Rotella or Delvac

Any good quality 15/40 diesel oil will be fine.

Hi as others have said a good 15-40 Diesel Oil.
Crankcase capacity is 15L or 29.5 PT US.
