Farmall Super A headlights

Farmall Super A that was converted to 12v by family member way back that. For some reason the head lights wiring is cut where it runs up the the lamp. I'm doing a little cleaning and replacing old wires I'd like to get them working.

I'm assuming head lights should work factory wired with 12v bulbs, so I may just need to resplice and attach to the lamp, but would like to see how it should be wired in the first place.

I've look around anyone know of a diagram for the headlights or can give me a run down on how it should be done?

Thanks

I have a 44 A. google farmall A It is an interesting site. has wiring diagrams, specs etc, including an online parts book (149 pages) with pictures etc. you should be good to go if your wires are relatively ok with splicing and taping. I made a new harness for mine by following the old wires, one at a time. Got my wire from an antique auto restorer. 10 and 14 guage. good luck kris

They probably cut the wires because the tractor came out from the factory as 6 volt, so the bulbs are probably 6 volt unless someone changed them. They won't last long connected to a 12 volt battery, like maybe seconds.
