Help me identify this plow

What kind of plow is this? It has traces of red paint on the frame and yellow or white paint on the wheels. Thanks for the help. I'm thinking maybe IHC because of the colors.

I'm not sure. There are things about it that look to me like an IH Plow, and then there are things that don't. Sorry.

Whatever it is, there are not very many 4 bottom clutch-lift plows around anymore of any make. A lot of them got cut up and sent to the chinese.

If you have any more pics, post them, somebody on here should recognize it.

Here's a few more pictures. I can't find a name or part #stamping anywhere but I didn't just scour it over either. I'd like to try and buy it. What is it worth approx?
Thanks again

Just a guess but was at a antique plow day last fall and a guy had a Minneapolis Moline plow that looked similar ? It was red w/ yellow wheels.

If it is, somewhere on various plow parts I would think you would fine M M stamped on them.

Might post your picture over on this forums M M section.

Good Luck, Bill

The bottoms are IHC "Plow Chief" and that should be written on the backs of the wings in bold letters. The wings should be blue. Saying that I have no clue what IHC tractor was intended to be used to pull the plow.

It is a Minneapolis Moline model DF. With a wire brush you can reveal MOLINE cast into the top of each plow beam. Possibly Acme Steel on the backs of moldboards. Finding wear items can be a real treasure hunt. I paid 200 for a 4 bottom in need of work last year, paid 300 for a 3 bottom that was rusted, but complete and good.

Not sure on the make but if you have a w9 or L case to pull it buy it you may look a long time to find another , farmall M won't pull it without seriously modifying engine

I am getting dizzy trying to stand on my head to look at it. getting hell for turning the screen over too.

yikes I see why, I'm sorry. I posted these on my phone and when I view them on there they are right side up on this site. Now Im on my computer and their upside down. I dont have a clue why!
