Woods belly mower ?

Would a woods 59 or L59 belly mower that is currently on a cub mount and work on a Super A? Owner is checking on exact model.
Rotation of pto and the mounts are my concern.

The deck would work, but the mounting brackets are entirely different. Best to find a mower that has the brackets for the SuperA. The cost of new brackets will be more than you will pay for the whole used set up.

Thats what I thought but wanted to confirm. Have been looking for a belly mower or bush hog for my Super A but have come up empty so far. Will keep searching.

Rotation is no big deal its just the way you wind the belt but mounting brackets will be different would take some work but it could be done.

The blades rotate opposite on a Cub version compared to an A version. Like gene says though, you can compensate for that by winding the belt in a non-standard way.

Mounts are completely different, but still available new from a Woods dealer.

Too bad you're not in Western NY because there's been a Woods mower deck setup for a Super A on craigslist on and off for months now.
