POST DRIVER

Ot ... what is a fair price for a shaver hd10 post driver its is
an older one with manual tilt ect. Unit has been well
maintained and cared for. It is comming up at a farm
auction. Thanks jim

What's a new one cost? Condition? common or rare? do REALLY need it?Or not? Value is relative.Dont be one of those guys who never buy anything because it "cost too much".Good luck on your upcomming purchace.

They are a good outfit. Check the springs on the side of the slide to see if they are there and how they look. I broke one on mine and took the other one off. Replaced them with some flat steel that I had welded to it. I bought mine figuring a couple of dollars per post that I would drive with it on a project. It has since paid for itself many times over. Hope this helps.

If you NEED it,If it will do the job,its in good shape....And it cost less than a new one,it will always be a good deal down the road,no matter "how much".As always before you buy something(especially at auction) find out how much a new one will cost.I/we all see folks who get so 'caught up' at auctions that pay way more than new cost. Most commonly : fence posts, livestock panels, siphon tubes......
