where can I buy an orifice plug tool #14-556-3 or can someone post a photo of a homemade one with dimensions, i need to remove an orifice from an mcv valve while still on the tractor for testing,i cant see inside the valve while mounted and I don't want to damage it.

Well i am not good enough on computer to post a picture of it , but basicly it is a screw driver with a piece of wire in the middle of the blade that fits thru the hole in the orifice and it is NOT like a straight screwdriver blade as it is more like a hollow ground blade where there is no taper but more flat.Sometimes ya can get them out and sometimes they ain.t coming out . so what is your problem ??

I wanted to check the flow and pressure on the mcv pump at times when the engine is throttled down steering assist gets weak but comes back when revved back up,my cover doesn't have the front tap plug, it's on the side toward the fuel tank and according to the manual the orifice has to come out to test it,also need to know how to set the spring tension on the action control valve open center system and stop adjustment bolt for the draft on unloading valve not in the manual,i have the position stop set,one other thing the lift lower speed is fine when loaded and lowered from fully raised to fully down but when lowering in small increments it's too fast can this be adjusted ,lift controls got all the O-rings during rebuild

My tractor(1256) does that.Simply means it is getting low on hydralic oil.Filling it back to 5 gal overfill solves that problem.I have a VERY STRONG suspicion that the Oring between housings is sucking air.The 5 gal overage 'fixes' that issue.
