And why not post this here as well...I just put this on 'Implement Alley'.
Could folks enlighten me on the models of cultivators IH made; or had made for them, that would have been 'vintage' for the 1958-1963 40 and 60 series tractors? While I'm askin' what models of two and four row front mounted units for same. Thanks in advance. I peeked at some notes from the Wisc. Histerical Society and all I have jotted down is that the model 261 is a two-row and model 461 is four-row for the Farmall 460 and 560 or maybe that was what I saw on the front of some literature. Thanks.
Something I should have added seeing a reply; I am looking for cultivators used for corn and/or tobacco as that would have been the cultivated crops in SW Wisc. back then. But, something for soybeans also; back then I don't even recall hearing about beans.
And Farmallhal; thank you so very much for doing that! I'm hoping 'neither snow, nor sleet, nor.....shall keep them from their appointed rounds.'
