I'm Just Smiling TOOOO Much Lately!!

Every time I'm out pushing snow with my Super-C, I'm so amazed how much snow it will push. I find myself smiling every time I use it.
After the 10-12" snowfall from this past week (thurs), I found myself back pushing snow for three hours, I do mine and my son's place. Usually I can do both places on one gal of gas but this time it took two. Both driveways 200+ ft have a large loop and I also clear part of the yard, making room for more snow. Don't think I've ever piled up this much white stuff. Second to last pic has a horse drawn hay tedder next to the pine tree, wheels showing in the snow. Hope all are staying warm.
Wish Mother Nature would let me quit smiling!

I used to smile 20 plus yrs. ago when I started using my Super C too, I'm over it now, seen enough winter, fell on the ice Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

I see you have front weights as well. I have two sets of rear weights mounted.
Almost looks like the same tractor with less snow. Would be cool to see your front blade.

Gab, you should get a set of ice cleats for your boots like some of the ice fisherman use around here or wrap light chains around them. Add some lead weights in your pockets and you'll be good to go! Oh, and a pillow for the backside!

Front blade is an IH but I don't have the lift linkage, just use the chains. We've lived here 24 years, been a little ice a couple times but we had a down pour late Thursday afternoon that equaled a lot of ice, fell down 3 days in a row, haven't went down 3 times in the last 20 years prior to this. Been a long winter.

This isn't from this year, but here I am plowing snow with my '47 MD back in 2007 (hope it shows up)

Can't say I have been smiling much this winter. Broke a bone in the side of my foot and it seems we have been getting snow every other day. Can't wait for spring.

Over here in The UK just before Christmas we were warned by some forecasters that one of the worst ever winters was on the cards, Deep deep snow, temps down to - 20 centigrade, real scary stuff.
As I write this ( 26th February )I can report that we have had one of the mildest... if at times rather wet and windy... winters that I have ever known and in fact here in South Yorkshire at any rate, we have not had one single snowflake.
Those in the southern end of the country have had some terrible floods though.

Gab, buy a pair of "YakTrax". They quickly fit over the bottom of your shoe/boot. Easy on, easy off. It'll be the best $20 you spend this Winter.

I've taken it off for ease of acess. When climbing off the tractor with winter clothes on, it's more of a hazard than a safety item. Too easy to hang up on it or slip with ice and snow.
