Anybody have a picture of Hugh MacKay?

We have a nice posting dedicated to him in the memorial forum. Some of the other postings there have pictures. Hugh was extremely popular with many here and I thought it might be nice to get a picture posted if anyone has one.

Here's a shot of Hugh and his lovely wife Marg. I took it when they stopped in for lunch while on a "parts run" in upstate NY in July 2005

Hugh was both a character and a true gentleman. He is dearly missed...

Bob, thanks for [posting this pic. I was going to add it to the memorial, but m unable to edit it. Ive sent them an email asking to add it if possible.9Assuming its OK with you)

Awesome Bob, thanks. Let's hope it ends up at the top of his memorial. Now if we can just photo shop that hat!!!

Hey John - OK to use that photo for the memorial! If necessary I can email you the original .jpg file - just let me know.

I put a picture of Hugh and myself on this forum a couple yrs ago, now have to figure out how to search for it. Anybody know how to do that, be my guest!

My wife and I stopped to see Marg and Hugh in Sept of 2008, one year before he died. He showed me around his yard and his tractors, then Marg served refreshments in their back yard...sure was a nice time with them both.

The picture shows us standing in front of one of his little Farmalls, he was wearing an Oliver cap.
He looked fine at that time, little did anyone know what was soon to happen.

That was a great loss, for all of us.

Dave,
When I first met Hugh that day, I was surprised by the Oliver hat but I did not say anything. He loved Farmalls, but I figure hats didn't mean anything to him.

Seeing that other pic of him with Marg makes me think that was just his favorite hat for everyday use.

Hugh was a no-nonsense man, so that hat might have been his way of showing his independence.

I tried to edit the post last night, but couldn't. Contacted Chris about it, he and Kim are going to fix it this morning. I miss old Hugh, although I never met him, we emailed each other quite a bit, and spoke on the phone once or twice. He was a heck of a man!

Bob M. Will you post this on the memorial forum. The one at the very bottom of this IH board.
I tried but got an error note as it is protected somehow.

Hey, nothing wrong with an Oliver hat, or for that matter, nothing wrong with many of their tractors.

Dave H,
Feel free to photo-shop the pic of Hugh and me; take out my wrinkled face....it will enhance the picture!
Hugh wearing an Oliver cap that was at least 3 yrs old was Hugh as I knew him!

Yeah, just joking around. If I didn't have IH I would probably have Oil-all-overs. I really like the looks of them and they have that nice rich sound. I see the picture made it to the memorial. I think that is a great tribute...finally.

I wish I was computer savvy enough to do that but you notice I don't post a lot of pics. I think that pic could go on his thread in it's entirety if you wanted to put it there as a memory of him.

GordoSD,
If you know how to move the pic of Hugh and me to the MacKay memorial page please do so. I don"t have a clue how to do that. I am just happy to contribute to the page.

Or anyone else who can help with this...it is appreciated.
