what's wrong with my 706

Today I started my 706 to do some blading and when
I put it in gear it wouldn't move when I let out
the clutch. I had it running at half throttle at
the time. The quick hitch also wouldn't lift. After
a couple of minutes it started working and the
clutch started engaging. I had used this tractor
last week when it was colder out and it worked
fine. Is the pump getting weak or what. Also the
torque wants to kick out on the low side. What is
my problem and are the all related. Thanks Larry

Someimes they suck air into the MCV pump from a Bad Oring Putting 5 extra gallons of Hytran in it will raise the level above the Oring. It is cheap and easy. If it doesn't work it was a non invasive diagnosis. Jim

I've seen this happen before. Try changing your Hydraulic filter. If the filter looks like it's full of waxy gope, change your transmission- hydraulic fluid. I would suggest using Hy-Tran plus. You can get it at your Case IH dealer. It cost more, but it is worth it.
