NOS Lighted IH Lawn sign

I am helping a friends family liquidate there grandmothers estate, and one of the items they have from the grandparents old IH/Farmall dealership that closed in 1980 is a NOS lighted one sided sign that is aprx. 4-5 feet long and 2.5 to 3 feet high. It is still in the org. cardboard box it was shipped in from the sign company and has a lexan lens that has the old IH logo and says something about Lawn products. This has never been mounted to the wall nor has the two wires stubbed out the end of sign ever been connected to power.
Can any of you tell me how and where is the best way to list this and is there much value. I know it is at least 34 years old as the dealership closed in 1980 and was in business from late 30's.
I would say this sign is something from 70's and have looked all over the box for a date but do not see anything. I will appreciate any and all input you may have to offer. Thank you.

I hope you do well selling it.

The only bit of advice I can offer is that, most likely, there's a manufacturing date somewhere on or in the sign cabinet, if it comes down to the need to "date" it.

Can you post a photo or send it to my email. I am interested in buying it if we can come up with a price.

I would also be intrested in buying it as well. I will pay shipping costs and would like to see pictures if possible. Please contact me at [email protected]

Do some checking as they bring some serious money just dont give it away its worth at least 500 or more check the Mecum auctions for prices with out a doubt its has some great valu. Get some prices from someone who has good knowlege of its valu being as its new.

Yeah, what Gene said. It would probably bring the most money if you could get it to one of the auctions at a national IHCC event. (Winter convention Feb in Indiana, Annual auction October Missouri).

Depending on which version of the sign, new in box condition it could reach a 4 digit price.

I did find a date on the box after all. It was with some other numbers, so I did not pick it out. It was dated July 1976 still in the box only pulled it out this morning for some pictures.
Thanks for all your help and information to look at. I am not sure what they want or would like to get. so I will, keep this site updated.

I am not the best with a computer and downloading pictures. I have them on my email, so anyone that wants to see photos and make an offer. please send email to [email protected] and I will get the pictures to you then. I appreciate all the advice,
