Super H amp gauge

Was wondering what amp gauge a Super H had from the factory? The parts books list a 354473R91 witch is the 20-0-20 gauge. My owners manual shows pictures of the 360053R91 D-0-C style gauge.

Make sure the 20-0-20 did not replace the D-O-C.

I beleive the 20-0-20 was the original style. The 300 & 400 had the D-0-C I think, if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will chime in.

So the 20-0-20 gauge would be the gauge from factory?

Thought I had some info on the change but haven't found it so far. Think it was sometime in 1954 and later SH were equipped with the D-O-C gage.

I have a late 1953 Super H and it still has the original gauge and it is the 20-0-20 gauge. Roger

Looked at three SH operators manuals. Number 1004288R2, dated 6-19-53 shows the 20-0-20.
Manual number 1004371R1 dated 6-30-54 shows the D-O-C. Another 1004371R1 dated 7-30-54 shows the D-O-C.
Some pictures IH used are not to reliable on time period correct. But since the D-O-C gage just started being used I would think if they were in a mid year 54 manual IH was using some on some 54 model SH. Probably if you have a SH made before march 54 to be safe side, it was the 20-0-20. After that whatever you think. Also maybe both types were used near the changeover.

Tractor is a stage II built in Nov. 1953. I think the 20-0-20 gauge would be the one to go with. Thanks for the help.
