Front End Loader

Got word of a guy wanting to sell a loader. It's off his C but he's not sure who manufactured it. He's sent a few pictures and from them I can't tell either. Could be IH, could be something else. He says it's in good working condition and from the pictures I don't doubt that. So what's a decent price for such a loader?

Its worth what you are willing to pay and how bad do you want it there just arent lots around for a C and you need the block and control also the reserve tank he has to make it work.

If the loader looks like this one then it is a IH model C32 loader, the blade is an option that came with the loader I also have the bucket that goes on the loader.

Thinking about it for my SC. I figured I'd need the control block (also assumed that would be included). In addition I'll need another hydraulic tank? Where does this reside? Would it generally be part of the loader?

Nope that one's not it. The one I'm looking at looks more modern and for lack of a better word, sophisticated. I'll try to post a picture later.

Could be a SUPER 6 loader with trip bucket. had a 1 gal round tank bolted to steering post, at least the one I use to have was like that.

I have a Farmhand, I believe an f-19, on a super c. It has the one gallon round tank on the steering post, and is trip bucket. A nice match in size for the super c.

Some loaders had a small round tank that fastened into the fill port of the hy system. The loader you are going to buy should have one with the loader. Only need a gallon capacity.

As Gene says"Its worth what you are willing to pay".There are not enough of them left to put a dollar value on it.There is no 'blue book' to guide. If you want/need it,there are no other loaders that will work, then buy it.Unless the seller is a greedy SOB,then you should be able to agree on a fair price-something BOTH buyer and seller are happy with

Odds are the owner will want to keep the auxiliary control valve on his C because otherwise he will have no hydraulics at all. The hydraulic lines from the pump are part of the valve. It's also pretty handy for other purposes.

If it's set up with a bypass block and a separate valve, you might be able to convince him to include it with the loader. A bypass block can be identified because it bolts in between the hard steel lines and the hydraulic unit under the gas tank.

The auxiliary tank setup is very simple. All it has to be is mounted at a level above the fill hole on the block under the gas tank. You connect a hose from the auxiliary tank to the fill hole on the block. That's it. A gallon is plenty.
