Thanks for helping me with some background. I love the look of the old Farmall with the rounded front.

If that baler is what I think it is and does the big as in around 1800lbs square bales then neither tractor will handle that baler. You need something in the 75HP range or bigger to handle that baler. Shoot the 450 I had would not handle the NH850 round baler I had and it calls for a 55HP tractor to run it so keep looking you need one a bit bigger

the NH268 is an old square baler from the 1960's. the 560 international will move any round bale. I bale with the 660 ih and an NH 851 round baler and that baler don't make the 660 work. only think is a cab would be nice for baling, as when the wind is blowing wrong direction you are covered in dust and chaff.

This is mine. Has combine tires, a big bore kit with dome pistons. Still has original TA and clutch. Jim

Wow! Great photo. Nice looking tractor. Let me know when you'd like to sell it! : )

No, I think we're talking about two different balers. Mine is a NH268--a very small square baler. I am using it with my horses but if I can't get 'er done, I have a neighbor who will make me large squares and he can make them on the small side. Probably 700-800#.
