hello

i am fixing up my old A and trying to figure out how to get the bearings off the input shaft on the back, i have the front of the shaft all undone but cant seem to figure it out from there

Parts 26 through 31 are involved in getting to the input shaft bearing at the front of the trans. The coupling is held on by a bolt. If this is not it, let us know.. We have not understood which bearing you mean for sure. Jim

ok i found out how

need to punch out pin holding reverse gear in order to remove shaft and get at the back bearing, all good except broke punch off in hole, drilled pin from other side then broke drill bit , so a whole new world of problems

Cobalt drills can drill a punch (not a drill) they are pricy, but so is almost all other options. Jim
