My Fseries has been sittiing out side all winter so far with snow on them,so today I decided to start them and let them run a little,It took 3 cranks and they were running just like it was a 100 degrees outside.Contray to what people say if a F series is right they will start as easy as any Farmall

James, Just changed my yard art last week. Had a 10-20 with wagon, stalks and pumpkin out. been there all fall started on 3rd crank.
Put out F-14 with wagon of wood for winter also started on 3rd crank. I like the old mags, if you keep them dry. nothing better!! oldiron29

An IHC F series correctly set on carb and ignition, will outstart anything out there. period. Problem is, most people don't take the time to get the carb and ignition right..............and keep it that way.

I have yet to not have one start on the 2nd or 3rd crank cold start (of course unless I forget to turn the fuel on).
