I am new to the tractor world. After sitting for 10 years, I cleaned the crud out of my '42 H distillate carburetor. When I go to start it up, full choke, I hear a sucking/spraying sound...I release the choke and gas pours out the carb inlet.
So...I order up a rebuild parts kit and replace all the parts (except idle mix jet b/c it's stuck). All passageways soaked in brake cleaner and blown with compressed air and should be clear. I go to start 'er up but gas still pours out the inlet BUT only when I use the choke. Engine will not fire (may be timing issue also).
Any ideas why gas pours out when I use the choke?
Thanks!!!
