Super C brake pedal shaft

There is a thrust washer that goes on each end of this shaft and I am missing the one that goes between the clutch pedal and the transmission housing. Does anyone know where I can get one?

Looking at my Super C Parts Catalog it appears to be part no. 48983D which is noted for a quantity of two. The one for the brake pedal side is shown but the other one is most likely used on the clutch pedal end of the shaft between the pedal and transmission housing. In looking at Messick's site it appears to still be available from CaseIH at a cost of $4.24 and shipping. That being the case a phone call to you local CaseIH dealership should yield results but will probably have to be ordered in, Hal.

The caseIH parts diagram shows only one on the right between the trans casting, and the left brake pedal attaching point. If you need another it is not a problem using a steel washer with the correct inside diameter. Valve spring shims from a autoparts store are really good substitutes, Take the shaft diameter with you to seelect the correct shim. If they want to sell you 8 of them, find a rebuilder that will give you a ferr used one. Jim
