Generator on Mccormick Deering 22-36

Hope I can get some answeres on this. I have a 1929 22-36 and there is a generator mounted on a large cast housing between the mag and the front cover. I havent seen this before and was wondering if it was for headlights and if anyone had a picture of this or info on it. It seems kind of rare being I have not seen another.

Yes, It is probably the lighting generator. Those are very rare. Take care of it.

Yes that is very rare make it work and get the old lites for it.

I was looking to find a picture of the lights or brackets so I can get it working and wire it correctly, but I haven't been able to find anything on it

In all the shows ive been to i have only seen one gen like that its here by CR,IA on an F-20. Lites used then were big

the parts manuals have pics of lights and brackets etc, should be able to get one or buy a reprint reasonable, probably from this site.

I have repro casted light brackets for the big light application. I have doing them for several years. Contact me and I can get you some pictures of the brackets mounted on tractor with lights.
