trans fluid level

i have a farmall A i need to find where to ck the trans fluid level and where the level should be.

There is a level plug on the left side, more or less behind the brake rod. You can get a manual from Binder Books.

Here is an online copy of the Super A manual. That part (and most of the other lube instructions) is the same.

If for some reason it has been setting out in the rain, remove the bottom drain first to check for water in the transmission. If you have water let it drain (cold after setting for a while) until the water stops. Then check the fluid level as Jim has indicated. Do not over fill.
