So I have actually started putting things back together. I got the main bearings changed and I have started prepping the sleeves and pistons.
I have a question about ring orientation. I am assuming that the order and orientation of the piston rings in the package is the correct order for the orientation and location on the piston. Is this a reasonable assumption?
The sleeve/piston unit is a 5 ring set-up with two oil control rings. The top most ring looks to be chrome plated and the next two no plating and then 2 oil control rings.
