460 deluxe seat rebuild

As some of you know I was having troubles getting the roll pins out of the seat suspension on my 460 deluxe seat. I put it aside and got a reman and started taking the old one apart. I found out the roll pins are tapered. One end is slightly bigger at one end and they will only drive out one way. I have a couple that are tough but the rest went easy enough. Just thought I'd mention it in case someone else is having trouble on one.

Yes I just did the seat for my 560. It was a bear. I had one of
those tapered pins that would not come out and had to grind
and drill it out. My suspension was in pretty bad shape and
needed lots of welding. I was wishing I would have just bought
a new one. New aftermarket parts (rubber springs and shock
absorber) didn't fit right and had to be reworked. Took about a
week and a half of nights in the shop.

I did just that..got a reman. It had a bushing in backwards and was missing 2 pins and also had a couple original peices left out and then it wouldn't mount in the factory holes but after a little work it went on fine enough but for what they cost it should have bolted up right away. I'm rebuilding my original one and may sell one of them later or keep for a spare.
