Just anouther H photo

I was running late last eve trying to get my mowing done. Neighbor needed a little help with his loader so I was getting a late start and trying to beat the rain. My old tractor is nothing special but I sure like her. I took this shot while letting her cool down and was getting a broom to knock off all the grass clippings. Thought is was a neat looking pic.

Paul Shuler; it is a neat shot. Is that the full "Harvest moon' low in the sky? Also, I know it isn't, but it sure looks like little snow mounds in the grass. Thanks for sharing. You have the lights on, looks cool.

Nothing special? I beg to differ. One of the greatest tractors ever made. Versatile and affordable, it was a big step toward modern agriculture. Decades later it looks great and is still working late mowing your lawn for you. You could take it out tomorrow and put it back on the field and it would do what it was made to do. It is a very special machine and a great picture!

randy, I was thinking the exact same thing....

There's this nice round spot on the side of the hood that's exactly the same size and shape as the H decal. Right there staring you straight in the face. It couldn't be more obvious where the decal goes.

Soooooo, let's stick it in some random place on the grille! Yeah that makes sense.

Yeh I know, I forget about that all the time. This tractor was repainted by the FFA in Spencer Iwoa back in the mid 80s long before I got it. I guess one day I just need to fix that.

Nice tractor and a good use for it. Dont let the lack of social skills on the part of the correct police ruin your day! Some folks have to stroke their own egos by showing their "superiority."

Sharp looking H. You sure do have some bright head lights on that one. Is it changed over to a 12 volt? My old H you could hardly see at night with the lights.

Love that tractor. I agree with the other posters. The H has always been my favorite. Just something about the look and styling from this period in agriculture history gives me goosebumps. Reminds me of my Father allowing me to ride along while he was mowing the back yard with an old sickle-bar mower. Enjoy her for sure :).
