farmall loader seals (pic)

Where can I find seals like this? The raised center rules out a standard cup. This is from an old Farmall loader found on the H, and M Farmall's of the 1940s or so. I have no idea of the model number, but it's still got the manure forks on the front.

Measure OD of shaft, and ID of housing diameter, take those dimensions down to your local NAPA dealer or your favorite seal and bearing house and they should be able to fix you up.

That I've done in the past. The center section is throwing me off as that raised section supports another metal cup that, I guess mashes it tight against the shaft when you tighten it all down.

I don't think they are made anymore. We used to build hydraulic cylinders that used them. I always called them windmill pump leathers because that is what they looked like. I have not seen any in seal catalogs in probably 10 to 15 years. I would be very surprised if you found them. There is a seal supplier in Florida called Hercules Hydraulics. They used to carry a lot of odd ball stuff. You might google them. Just my 2 cents worth. Good luck and I would be interested in what you find out.

Look in the pictures section for a #30 or 31 loader to see of that's what you have.. I have a #31 on my H and got the parts a few years ago from a CIH dealer. It cost me about $50.00 per cylinder, but the loader doesn't leak at all now.

try the following Case-IH part numbers
450665r2 for the big seals
450658r2 for the packing (might need 4 per cylinder)
450672r2 for the gaskets
