I have a water leak from what I think is from the water pump.I got a rebuilt one from Napa.I noticed it has a gasket for the water pump and another gasket.What is this for maybe a cover? Is there anything else that would leak ? I know all the hoses are leak free. I have not tore into it just looking for helpful advise.

Some of those pumps are for 'multiple' applications.They simply put the other(unneeded) gasket in for more 'coverage'.Take it apart,you will find where the other gasket goes(if it's even needed)

It's been a while since I did my 560 water pump but I don't think it came with a back plate on it so I had to reuse my old one. That might be what it's for.

If you mean it still leaks after replacing water pump, suspect the expansion plug right in behind the pump, half concealed by the front timing cover. They are fun.

There is a gasket between the pump and the backplate and another gasket between the backplate and block
