Need Piston Kit for 706 with D-282

I'm looking for a place that will sell only 1 piston, sleeve, and rings for a d-282. Does anyone know of any body that will do this? I have been looking for awhile with no luck. I can get used pistons thru bates, new sleeve and new rings, but prefer to have new for all.

have you tryed napa? i have bought individual sleeves from them.

Hy-Capacity sells individual sleeve and pistons for that engine. Both the light press and heavy press fit styles. Most any imp dealer and independent tractor repair shop can get Hy-capacity parts.

Any auto parts store that handles Federal-Mogul can get them for you (UNLESS they have now been discontinued).

Be prepared, though for "sticker shock" of the price of ONE assembly vs. a complete kit.

I think I have 5 sleeve and piston assemblies that are new for a D282. Send me the measurements by email and I will verify tomorrow when I get home. Price will be reasonable.
