Length of the throttle rod on a F-20

The rod that you lift and pull out or push in, while sitting in the seat, appears to have been broken. It is now two pieces, that overlap in the middle and that has two bolts holding both pieces together. If this piece is something that someones repaired, I would like to remove the bolts, and weld the two ends together to make it one straight piece. Would someone please give me the measurement, from the end with the pin in it, to the bend that goes in the support by the rear of the tank? ON mine the length is about 23 1/4"
Thank you
Steve

my '37 is 30 inches long, the 36 with the variable speed gov upgrade with the throttle on the right is just about a half inch shorter, but maybe because it is bent towards the center at the last foot. The 39 is quite a bit longer and comes back farther, but it isn't close by so I can't measure it now.

What year is your F-20?

Is it on the driver's left side or right side?

Post a picture. I may have one on one of my parts tractors.

I guess i will re-engineer this rod myself. I will try to make it the same length that it is now and hope it looks better than it does now. When I try to load a photo, I usual miss one step and fall on my face. Here goes.
Thank you
