IH/Farmall 1066 Serial Number

Looking at a Farmall 1066 and I am wondering about the year. A list here that I have shows serial numbers but they are either 4-digits (first year in 1971) or 5-digits (72-75) in length. The serial number plate on this one reads as folows .... 2610172U027759. Obviously I'm having problems deciphering the number. All of those numbers are printed in the serial number space on the ID plate.

Using this data, your tractor is a 1973 year model.
