does anyone have any comments about case ih 2394 tractors. good or bad. thinken about buying one,but not sure if they are any good or if a bag of trouble.

We have a 2594 with over 10,000 hours on it. We rebuilt the differential last year the cross was worn out. It was the first major repair we had ever done to it. JMO the 94 series tractors were some of the best tractors ever built. Ours has been a tough and reliable tractor. As with any tractor past matience history is important. Is it a 12 or 24 speed tranny?

it has a 24 speed trans. we used a 2290 one year. its clutch was jumpy an so was the trans. are the 94 series like that? an whats the diff between 2394 an 3394? always had red paint. want to replace our 1586. we have 240 an 275 mx tractors so this would b a cart an drill tractor. do they have case or cummins engins in them? would it b a good replacement for our 1586? thanks tony..

The tractor will have a Case 504 engine in it. We really like the Case engine plenty of power and torque good fuel economy too. A 94 series Case would be a major upgrade over a 1586. The power shift on the 24 speed shifts really smooth. We were all IH til we switched to Case in the early 80's also have a 2670 and a 2590.

Good tractors; I sold at my auction last spring a 3594 with 9000 hours, bought it with 4500 hours. Very trouble free, good torque and power. 24 speed and FWA, hard on front tires would be the only complaint.

According to everything I have read, the front axle was permanently engaged. Probably not a big drawback unless you do a lot of traveling on paved roads where tire wear might be a concern.
