Farmall B, IH 6075D, typical sleeve? Same sleeve as 251069?

Ok, been looking to get a rebuild kit. As some of my previous posts would reveal my block as a 6342 DH, but my local Case IH dealer doesn't show the 6342 blocks, only the 251069 and of course the later super a/c blocks.

Does anyone know if the 6075D sleeves would have been used in the 251069 blocks as well?

I'm trying to establish if the 251069 block is essentially the same as the 6342 block, but numbered in the 6 digit scheme.

Yes they are the same. What type of kit are you looking for. The 3 1/8 Hi-Domes are popular. You do need to know the measurement at the bottom of your old sleeve to not get the wrong ones. Many dealers dont have listings for the old stuff. Your best deal will be ones from Abeline.

So, even the 6075 item number will have different sized bottoms?

Regarding type of kit, yes I'll be going with the 3 1/8 overbore with fire craters (that was what the shop has).

We've owned this tractor for the past 50 years. So we've got a pretty good idea of who has done what :)

Just trying to get a handle on how these part numbers work. So the 6075d merely indicates its a cylinder sleeve and beyond that they are ordered by size? I did notice a A on the other side of the sleeve.

I didn't want to remove the sleeves before a kit was on hand to prevent any thing collecting on a mating surface.
