I need to replace the seat rubber springs on the 460 and was wondering if anyone can give me instructions on how to go about it. Thanks.

Update: I tried to get the pins out and all of them are stuck tight. Do I use heat to try to get them removed or not? Thanks.

Well after heating, oiling, pounding, drilling and a whole bunch of swearing I am officially whipped on this seat bracket. Monday I'm just gonna order a rebuilt one. I hate to say it but $700 is worth the lack of agrivation.

The seat is a deluxe on a 460 farmall. Without going into great detail it has basic roll pins that are rusted tight as all get out. I've cut them flush to the rods they go through and tred driving them out with a roll pin punch keeping the rods etc solid so there is no movement when hammering. Heat is not an option on many key parts because of thin metal on certain parts connected to the rods and some components are made from puter.

If you can't get them punched out, drilling would be my next choice if you can get to them. I see you said drilling but not sure why they would not drill out, with a nice sharp bit.
