I am going to try to get started on the 10-20 I have, I believe it is a 1925 serial 26xxx. I am in need of a parts tractor as the previous owner left all of the transmission parts sit outside apart. Are there cirtian things I can look for to get a close idea of age? How bout any books or o line info that would give some in depth info on the 10-20 gear drives?

The 1925 tractors started with SN 18869 and the 1926 tractors started with 37728. We had a 1926
tractor. We should've had row crop tractors. The 10-20 was an excellent belt tractor. The F12 and F20 would have been fine for cultivating corn, mowing hay and other uses. Hal

ive got a 25 in the shed with all the correct parts on it. anything In particular you would like a picture of to show you the correct things that an early 10-20 has?

The 10-20 is an easy tractor to date. The casting date is on the main frame underneath the tractor. Crawl under and look up back under the transmission area. it will be month day year.
The manuals are online in jpg. see Steel Wheels dot net

Your 10-20 was made in March or April of 1925. March production started with serial number 24445 and April with 26208.
