Fast hitch on H

How much trouble am I getting into by attempting to put a fast hitch from a 300 onto an H? Has anyone done this or seen one?

There are 'bosses' on the 300 to attach the hitch
to.The H doesnt have then. There are plates for that
porpose, probably VERY rare or even unavailable. You
can make your own plates .I see no other reason that
it couldnt be done. There were many M converted to
fast hitch using said 'factory' plates, even though
I have never personally seen one....

that would be neat if you have the 300 next to the H so you could make he plates and brackets to make for the H so it will work great project go for it. I have a B that has the "C" hy system on it real neat works great used a late block with the place for the hy pump made a batt box so the steering post could mount on top thus then able to mount the Cs levers ect. It even had the mounts for the disc plow from a SA.

Easier if the hitch is like this one. Takes some time to make the plates without a template but that's how these were done. This is a SH but a H would be the same size.

An axle housing gasket sets the hole position really well. Allow for the casting and draw it up in Adobe Illustrator or Corel draw or Autocad (2D) then have a shop use a CNC plasma torch to cut it out of 3/4 plate. Jim

I put a fast hitch on an M, did like Jancholson said use the axle housing gasket for the bolt pattern, it can be done. It was a bit spendy to get the brakets made and also buy the fast hitch but it is unique.

Al, would you be able to take a couple pics for me? Seeing one on an M is closer than anything else I've found. Email if you can.

I haven't written it off yet, but will have to wait until Saturday afternoon to sit them next to each other and look it over.

I think I have the pictures on my computer, I will have to kook through all my pictures to see if I can find it. I originally saw an MD at the Clay County Fair in Spenser, Ia. took a picture of it and paterned it after that picture.

I have two pictures on my computer and I know how to email the picture to your email address but I don't know how to get them on the web site.
