Have a 1936 F20 that I'm overhauling. My question is how do you remove the fan belt idler pivot pin? Mine is worn enough that I'd like to have a machine shop ream out the arm and replace the pin, but I cant figure out how to get the pin out of the block. Thanks!!!

IHC sold a special thickness washer that would cause the shaft to tighten in a different relationship so that the fan shaft would be in line again.

As is usual, Old F20 is right on the money. They are threaded in, and are TIGHT! you are sometimes better served leaving them alone, and have a bushing made to take up the slop and oval shape.
