Aquired a 1086 this week been playing with it Got the best of me at 1/2 throtle it drives around yard pull the torque it drops in speed and jump back up when realesed apply brakes and it will stop tractor like the clutchs is slipping yet it will still pull with out slippin at low speed it climbed up on to my trailer on its own and soon as you give it more then half throttle it wil just quit movein rite now pull the throttle back lower then half and away it goes any help would be grateful

Probable first thought is a leaky intake to the MCV pump. the easy fix is to over fill the hydro reservoir by 5 gallons. It hurts nothing and may just cover the leak with oil. It is cheaper than other repairs, quick and often makes it work as intended. Jim

First off does a red lite come on in the dash when you push down the clutch with the engine running ????????? if not fix the lite in the dash . Next change the hyd. filter . When it stops moving do you still have steering and brakes ???? does the three point still work????? Do you hear any unusual sounds , sometimes hard to hear in the cab. Drop the cover plate under the clutch housing and see if ya have any extra pieces and parts fall out.Check cab mounts and clutch adjustment dump valve and trans brake adjustments , if you do not know what your doing there then get someone that does. Also check hyd oil level .
