Why the tire size change?

alderman asked on Wed. p.m. what size rear tires on a Farmall 340? Got me to tinkin' this morning why did the tire sizes change? Who done did it? I'm putting in on manufacturers but, manufacturer's at dealer promptings?

alderman got answers; my [i:bcba0bf09e]IH Operator's Manual McCormick Farmall and International Utility 340[/i:bcba0bf09e] states 11.2 - 36 and 12.4 - 36, both four ply. Please enlighten me, thanks.[/i]
