How in the world do you get a flywheel off a 10-20? can it be tken off in the tractor?

As special heavy duty puller is needed to remove the flywheel. It can be done without removing the engine, provided the puller is short enough to fit.

I asked the same question a while ago. I built a puller almost just like the one pictured. It used a bottle jack also. It worked great. Do not beat on it because it is not coming off without a puller. Click on the link to see the picture.
