Farmall H steering nut size

anyone know the size of the nut on the end of the steering gear, thread size., I dropped mine somewhere in the grass and cant find it. Thanks in advance.

3/4 inch fine thread. That's the steering wheel end. If at the front of the bolster I would need to look to be sure, Looks like 3/4 inch slotted fine thread.

3/4" Slotted N.F. hex jam nut it appears in my parts catalog - You should be able to find it with a good magnet, Hal.

Buy a new one, go to install it, and right there you'll see the old one.

The one that holds the steering wheel can be anywhere from about 75 pounds to well over 300, as long as the seat will hold it up.
