460 utility

I have a 460 utility its leaking oil out of the wheel center thhe bolt out of the center axle does this get agasket or sealer 2nd what kind of oil is this where do you check it and add it?? thank you

If I understand the question there is no oil in the axle--if you are lucky the front of the oil pan is leaking. But, more likely the front crankshaft seal is leaking requiring removal of the axle, grill, front cover, etc, or leave it alone and keep an eye on the dipstick.

There is an Oring under the washer/bolt. it may be loose, or just old. See part #7 in diagram. Jim

Correct if it is the rear. When Carl said "center axle" I thought he meant the front axle, although I didn't think the oil would move to what I thought was the pivot bolt holding the front axle. I have a 460 Hi Utility, which has the row crop rear, so it doesn't have an o-ring.
