Does anyone still sell endless flat belts used for running implements from a tractor.I've got a couple of old ones I think I can splice but they are not getting any younger.

We run an old Meadows grist mill and a Bearcat hammer mill with flat belts. we use old hay roller belts. work perfectly good for both machines.

Yes, thought of the hay roller belting after I posted that. TSC has a good selection of that belting. Don't know if they do the lacing or not.

im sure their still there, apache hose and belting in cedar rapids iowa can make any size you want.i got some there for some jackshaft powered shop machines.sorry cant find a cedar rapids phone book. I remember a guy that got some there for f20-30 fan

I found the lacing from a place called "Alligator Clamps.com" or some such. I was too poor at the time to buy so I laced a belt together using wire. The belt was an old cloth belt and I doubt an Alligator Clamp would have worked. If you have a good belt the Alligator Clamps are easy to use (I helped my dad make up belts on a few occasions). I have been running a buck saw for a couple of years with the wire stitched belt.
