Just read your 1206 article in RPM.Great story!Might just inspire my to fix my trusty old 706!Its already got the turbo and the updated shifters!Thanks! Steve
 
Thanks.....I would still re-do one in a second if I had to.

Amazingly...it still looks as good now (20 years later) as it did in the photos. It has an easy life, as a 7200 series MAGNUM does the hard work on the farm now.

Most people don't realize that spending $$ on these classics is $$$ VERY WELL SPENT. The parts availibility on these is very good yet too!

I find that the most important part to check over/replace now on the classic era (1955-1995) tractors is the wiring and its related components.

I find so many with brittle/frayed wires. These can start a "fatal" fire and that is not nice. :(
 
Found the same issue on my 1967 Farmall 656 where the battery cable went through a hole in the battery box - I now have a grommet to protect the cable, Hal.
