hehehehe. will show these pics to my 3 year old grand daughter tomorrow. I am slowly turnimhg her into a FARMALL girl. I ask her all the time what color tractors are suppose to be and she says Red!! puts a big grin on my face every time. she will be operating the Super C and M before long. I am a instigator the grandson comes around wearingole Green JD hats and stuff so I am brainwashing the girl.got to get her some Farmall shirts and hats soon. hehehehe

As I dimmed the monitor to avoid eye damage my reflexes were inadequate. I think I see red tinting on things entering my right eye. Shiny warning was not given!!! Jim

"Hokey Smoke Bullwinkle", look at that beautiful tractor! My favorite are the IH 40-60 series and I am lusting for such a paint job.

Great photos - an image showing more than one side of your subject made for a much more interesting photo; gives the one dimensional image a 'second' dimension and NO, NOT ONE single utility pole poking out from the tractor. Fantastic job and thanks for sharing.

If you COULD buy a brand new 560, it would NOT be that shiny. NO tractors ever left the assembly line with that much gloss and glitter.

While I do appreciate and like what has been done to that 560, it is NOT restored. It is customized.

Look out Colby....you have a bit of competition !!!
I never cared much for this series, but I have to admit...
THAT is one good looking Farmall !!!
I know how much time, labor, & money that went into it.
Are you personally satisfied with the results ???
Anything you would have done differently next time ???
All I can say is congrats......good job !!

Thanks guys for the nice comments!
It makes it all worth while! This 560 does hold a special heart for me. My grandfather farmed with a 1959 Farmall 560 gas, wide front just like this one. I still remember riding on it with him, when I was a little boy. I have always wanted one since, and very proud to have it!!
Thanks again!

Thanks rhtx55!
Colby has A LOT more money in his the way it looks!
I am very happy with it, but Im never 100% satisfied with my
work. I mean I always find little things that didnt turn out or what
ever, Im sure most people are like that as well.
I do have a few fish eyes in the paint on the front axle. I dont
know why, there must have been something on the surface,
when I painted it. Its not 100% perfect and being trailered
around. It will be driven around and in the dusty shed. The best
part is driving it and enjoying it.
Thanks again!

Find a bunch of tall grass to drive around in, it'll wipe the paint off the front axle, get rid of your spots, and give it that cool "I been working all day" look.

That is the next tractor I want to buy is a 560 diesal. Thats one of the last tractors grandpa loved to farm with.
